Client Service Charter

Our Client Service Charter details the association between United Advisers Group, Fund Advisers Europe (Luxembourg) SA and our clients.

United Advisers Group is a trading name of Fund Advisers Europe (Luxembourg) SA and any reference to United Advisers Group (UAG) refers to Fund Advisers Europe (Luxembourg) SA or companies within the Fund Advisers Holdings Ltd group.

  • UAG is an independent broker; we are not tied or owned (in full or in part) by any Financial Institution.
  • UAG does not hold or handle any client money. All financial transactions are conducted directly between the client and the financial institution concerned.
  • We are remunerated by commissions paid to us by financial institutions as an introducing agent for the recommended insurance product. Any additional services we supply may be subject to a service fee which will be outlined and agreed in advance with our clients.
  • UAG undertakes an in-depth financial fact-find as part of our “know your client” obligations. This comprehensive document determines and understands our client’s current financial circumstances in addition to their future plans, requirements and objectives. The client’s attitude to risk and information ensuring anti-money laundering regulations are being met are also captured at this initial stage.
  • Our qualified advisers will explain to you full details of any product recommended and will supply you with all available provider literature such as the product brochure (and any technical guide) from the relevant financial institution for you to read and retain for future reference. How the product works, along with the product charging or fee basis is all explained prior to any application form being provided for completion.
  • If the product has an investment element, UAG will explain the risks involved and how this relates to the client’s risk profile. Any explanation will cover the information that unit values can go down as well as up and that past performance is not necessarily a guide to future performance.
  • A long-term relationship with our clients is important to UAG and we are committed to providing regular updates, face to face meetings to discuss your insurance products and your financial wellbeing.
