Olivia Williams - Client Relationship Manager

We give Olivia a (small) break this month from writing the spotlight interview so that she can feature this month. Olivia joined United Advisers in June 2013 and is based in our Spanish office.

Outside of work Olivia runs her own blog where she posts amazing recipes that are both delicious and super healthy. Perfect for January. We recommend checking out the homemade falafel recipe which is one of my favourites!

What made you join United Advisers?

My partner was working for UAG in Switzerland. He really enjoyed his job and working for United Advisers. When I had the opportunity to move abroad and the company had a position available, I knew it was a move I had to make. I have previous experience in the financial sector but not in wealth management so I thought it would be a great challenge to try a different area of the sector. As soon as I got involved with UAG I knew it was a company I wanted to work for.

What is something clients are surprised to learn about UAG?

Clients always tell us they really like how we communicate and that whenever they need anything we reply quickly and efficiently. No question is too small and no job is too big. I really enjoy being part of a team that cares about client service as much as I do. For me this is one of the most rewarding parts of the job.

Do you have a top financial/investment/life tip?

Enjoy today knowing that tomorrow is taken care of!

Describe yourself in 3 words…

Hardworking, honest and organised

Can you share your best UAG moment?

Moving into my current role. I currently look after David Cooper’s clients. I am the first point of contact and deal with the majority of client queries. One of my highlights, when I moved roles, was receiving a really nice email from an existing client telling me how thankful she was for all the work I had done for her. This is why I like being the first point of contact; you not only get to help but you also get the feedback! It’s always nice to hear from our clients.

Now tell us a secret…

I am huge Aston Villa fan (unfortunately)
